UIC TA Manual

Teaching at UIC: A Practical Manual for Instructors and Teaching Assistants Heading link

This manual aims to help you navigate the new, complex, and challenging situations that you may encounter in your role as a TA at UIC.

The manual was conceived, written, and edited by Sarah Shepherd-Manandhar, Kimberly P. Garza, and Professor John Coumbe-Lilley as a class project for GC 592 Seminar in College Teaching.  GC 592 is part of the three-course sequence that leads to the Foundations of College Instruction campus certificate.  Professor John Coumbe-Lilley developed the certificate program and worked closely with PhD students Sarah Shepherd-Manandhar and Kimberly P. Garza, both of whom completed the certificate.
